Tier 2 Intra-Company Transfer visas

If you are an employee of a multi-national company and are being transferred by your employer to the UK branch, either on a long-term or short-term visit, you will need to apply for a Tier 2 Intra Company Transfer visa to gain entry to the UK.

In order to be eligible to apply for a Tier 2 Intra Company Transfer visa, you will need to fall under one of the following sub-categories:

  • Long-term staff;
  • Short-term staff;
  • Graduate trainee; or
  • Skills transfer.

At Mulberry Finch, our solicitors will assess your individual circumstances, taking into account factors such as the length of your employment and salary, and advise which sub-category you fall into. The amount of leave granted to remain in the UK is dependent upon which sub-category you fall into.

Our assistance with your Tier 2 Intra Company Transfer visa application will include:

  • Advising on and preparing the supporting documentation to be submitted with your  visa application, to demonstrate that you meet the relevant criteria;
  • Determining if you achieve the relevant pass mark for points for a visa by assessing your attributes, English language skills and maintenance; and
  • Completing and submitting your visa application to the relevant authority on your behalf.

If you currently possess a Tier 2 Intra Company Transfer visa, you cannot qualify for settlement through this route, even if you have completed five years of leave. Nevertheless, our solicitors are on hand to discuss your individual circumstances and provide advice on alternative methods to qualify for settlement that may be available to you.

If you have any queries on whether you require a Tier 2 Intra Company Transfer visa, or about your application, please call us now and we will assess your situation and ensure that you are moving in the right direction.
