Qualifying for a UK Tier 1 General visa requires similar criteria to the previous Highly Skilled Migrant Programme (HSMP) being met. An applicant's qualifications, previous earnings, and age are considered, along with English Language capability and personal savings/maintenance. Work experience or qualifications earned in the UK may earn you additional points.
You will need 75 points in the main section to qualify, along with 10 points for English Language ability, and 10 points for your ability to maintain yourself without the help of UK public funds.
