Role

Software development and implementation of Management Information Systems (MIS).

Requirements

Education - This position requires a Bachelors Degree or a 2-year post-secondary certification or post-secondary diploma. Your qualification needs to include a computing component.

Language - Applicants will need to have a business level of proficiency in both written and oral English or French.

Salary - $45,000-$95,000, depending on experience.

Experience - You are required to have 2 years experience in analysis, design, and application development of real-time online transaction processing (OLTP), relational database management systems (RDBMS), and mainframe systems. 

You must also demonstrate 2 years work experience with mainframe systems which include Y2K activities. Examples of Y2K activities include compliance tasks, audit tasks, impact analysis, data & code conversions and testing.

Your experience in your chosen field needs to be demonstrated by working with a minimum of one item under each heading below.

Data Structure

DB2 (DB2, DB2/400, DB2/6000, DBS/2), DL/1, DMSII, IDMS, IMS - FASTPATH, IMS - FULL FUNCTION, IMS/DB, or VSAM.

Operating System Platform

AS400, IBM MAINFRAME, MVS, TANDEM, TSO/ISPF, or UNISYS MAINFRAME.

High-level Language
