English language tests for spouses, partners and fiancé/es will be compulsory, the UK Border Agency announced today.

The Forced Marriage (Civil Protection) Act 2007 will enable courts to deter forced marriages, allowing courts to order individuals to either change their ways, or face a jail sentence.
