Leaked Home Office documents reveal plans to postpone the mass issue of ID cards in the United Kingdom by a further two years.

A new quota for the Sector Based Scheme Food Manufacturing sector has now been agreed.
This new quota, which applies to Bulgarian and Romanian Nationals only, has been set at 3,500 permits. These permits will be subdivided as follows:
