The Canadian government allows for family and dependents to join their partners or relatives in Canada. Below is a brief outline of the requirements for family immigration.
When submitting an application to immigrate to Canada, your spouse or common law partner (including same sex relationships) can generally be included in the application.
In regards to children, any unmarried children under the age of 19 can be included in the application for immigration to Canada. Any children over 19 years of age can also be included if they are full time students and are financially dependent on the applicant. Children who are married can also be included in family immigration if they are full time students and are financially dependent on the applicant.
Generally, parents of applicants can immigrate to Canada to be with their children. However, before applying for their visas applicants must have already settled in Canada. There are stringent financial requirements that must be satisfied before a parent can be granted a visa to immigrate to Canada on the basis of their children's residence there. The financial requirements are different depending on the number of dependents already living with the sponsor and the part of Canada where they live.
There are other sponsorship applications that can be made such as those for orphaned relatives who are under 19 years of age. They could be brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces or grandchildren. In addition, you can generally sponsor a child under 19 years of age who you plan to adopt.
Means & method of communication is superb.
