EEA Family Permit

A European Economic Area (EEA) Family Permit is a form of ‘entry clearance’ to the UK for non-European family members of an EEA national. You may even be considered a ‘family member’ for the purposes of the EEA Family Permit if you are not related to the EEA national by marriage or civil partnership.

Mulberry Finch can provide you with professional expert advice and assistance with all aspects of the EEA Family Permit application and the requirements involved, including:

  • Assessing your individual circumstances and advising if an EEA Family Permit will need to be obtained;
  • If an individual comes under the definition of ‘family member’ for the purposes of an EEA Family Permit, and if necessary, how they can demonstrate that they are dependent on you;
  • Determining which documents will need to be submitted with your EEA Family Permit application to demonstrate your relationship to the EEA national.

We are also here to advise if an alternative method of ‘entry clearance’, other than an EEA Family Permit, is required/would be better suited to your individual circumstances, and can advise you on how to obtain this.

We are confident that we have the relevant experience and expertise to assist you with your EEA Family Permit queries from the start of the application process through to completion, and to assist you further once you arrive in the UK and wish to remain here for a longer period of time. So please call us now to assess your situation and get you started in the right direction.

Impressed with the empathy and support shown by the lawyer and the fact that I felt I had 'a voice' in the proceedings.
