Role
Composing and editing animation and digital effects (FX) for film and television.
Requirements
Education - This position requires a Bachelors Degree or equivalent technical school certification in film editing or computer graphics. Alternatively, work experience at a level that is equivalent to such qualifications may be accepted.
Language - Applicants will need to have business-level proficiency in written and oral English/French
Salary - $65,000-$100,000 for 3-5 years of experience. If your artistic capabilities and your experience are exceptional, your salary may well exceed $100,000.
Experience
Your experience in your chosen field will need to be demonstrated, by showing that you have worked with a minimum of one product or technology under each of the following headings.

Hardware
ALPHA/PC, MAC, MAC/ALPHA, MAC/PC, MAC/PC/ALPHA, SGI, SGI/MAC
Applicants will need to have two years experience with non-linear composing and effects background with traditional on/off line an asset. Applicants need to show that they have had work experience in the role of a senior editor in production and at least two years experience with any or in a combination of approved platforms, software and hardware.
