The Working Holiday Maker is designed to encourage people aged between 18 and 30 to live and work in Canada for the duration of the visa.
The basic requirements are as follows:
- Applicants must be aged between 18 and 30 years at the time the application is made
- Applicants must be allowed into Canada under the Immigration & Refugee Protection Act of Canada
- Applicants must not have dependents accompanying them
- Applicants must be a citizen of the participating country
- It will be necessary to show applicants have approximately CDN$4,000 in funds
