Canada Student Visas

Student visas for Canada present students with an opportunity to move undertake part of their studies in Canada.

Canadian student visas are not intended as a means by which people become permanent residents or become Canadian citizens. Approved applicants are expected to leave once the study period is complete.

Canadian work permits will also allow applicants to work on a part time basis on the campus where you are registered.

Process

In order to be eligible for a student visa, applicants must satisfy the following requirements:

• Have an acceptance letter from the school or educational institution which the applicant will attend
• Be able to provide evidence that you have sufficient funds to pay the school fees and live close to the school
• Applicants will need to prove that they intend to return home once their studies are complete
