UK Border Agency staff identity fraud?

On 25^th May 2010 UK Border Agency published a statement on their website, warning immigrants about falling victim to rogues who pretend to be the Agency’s staff. Apparently some correspondence and emails were in circulation which offered jobs to immigrants and were “endorsed” with UK BA staff details in order to increase their credibility.

The UK Border Agency one again reminded the public that none of their officials are in any way involved or connected with the employment market. It is therefore not possible to have a job offer with UK Border Agency employment permission attached to it.
