More than half of doctors are against the UK government prposals to end permit free training for doctors educated abroad.
The British Medical Association (BMA) conducted a survey which appeared to highlight the fact that doctors who contribute to the UK economy and the health needs of wider society are being discriminated against.
Critics have called the changes discriminatory and that they ought to be brought before a court. The main issue is that the changes have been brought in almost without warning or consultation and thus result in added hardship to those doctors who have made future plans.
